About the Team The primary objective of the Solution Consulting Director DACH is to manage the Solution Consulting operations and teams to support Workday DACH revenue targets achievement, as well as maintaining a high customer satisfaction level and strong motivation of employees. As a key member of the DACH senior leadership team, the Solution Consulting Director DACH personally contributes to achieving Workday DACH main missions and objectives, such as deal support, demand management, yearly planning, Solution Consulting enablement, etc.The Solution Consulting Director DACH personally ensures the "One Team" objectives, establishing a strong collaboration and partnership attitude from the Solution Consulting team with the Sales organisation as well as other local and EMEA teams. About the Role Key areas of responsibility: Vision and goal setting: Set the organization vision and goals for the DACH Solution Consulting team ensuring alignment with Sales, Marketing, Value Management, and other key functions. Planning: Contributes to DACH GTM plan and develops a Solution Consulting plan (resources, skills, processes, etc) aligned with budget and productivity objectives Deal support: Develop an organization focused on Solution Consulting best practices around business value-based selling and innovations; customer understanding; simplified and relevant demonstration capabilities; themes, messaging and storytelling; develop strong deal leadership through deal management and competitive intelligence. Personally, invest in key opportunities for Workday DACH and contributes to strategy and execution. Proactively manage and solve sales escalations on resource or support quality issues. Profitable revenue growth: Continually drive proactive management of resources and costs to maximize quality of support and win rate while minimizing investment in opportunities People Management: Be a role model in people management: develop trust and motivation of Solution Consulting team; ensure fair treatment of employees and continuous fact-based performance feedback is provided by Solution Consulting management to direct reports, as well as regular and open communication; strive to retain, reward and develop our best talent; develop all Solution Consulting resources to best support business needs; continually attract new talent in support of our vision/goals, act quickly in addressing under performance situations; ensure excellence in all people related processes Solution and industry excellence: Foster an environment of collaboration and development specific to solution and industry knowledge within DACH. Proactively collaborate to share best practices and knowledge Demand Management: Ensure Solution Consulting active participation in the execution of DM planning and activities to increase quality pipeline generation and maturation About You Experience and Requirements 10+ years in Solution Consulting 5+ years of Solution Consulting / sales management experience. Leadership, drive for results and "can do" attitude Experience in people management, performance management, sales and Solution Consulting processes, complex sales management and innovation selling, building and motivating high performing teams Experience within the business applications marketplace, preferably ERP, Financials or HCM related Demonstrable results in leading teams within team-based sales environments High level of accountability in a high growth environment Well above-average written and verbal communication skills in German (native) and English mandatory Proven as an innovative thinker, self-starter, fast-learner, and agent of change Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
