The Position Deine Abteilung Die Masterarbeit (M.Sc.), mit der Möglichkeit eines vorgeschalteten Praktikums, findet im Bereich R&D Centralised and Point of Care Solutions, in der Einheit Early Development in der Abteilung Point of Care Assay Formats statt. Point of Care Assay Formats ist ein zentraler Teil in der Herstellung neuartiger Biosensoren und der Nutzung physikalisch-chemischer Charakterisierungsmethoden. Unsere Abteilung befasst sich insbesondere mit der Vorentwicklung diverser Assays (klinisch chemisch und immunochemisch) sowie von Blutgassensoren. Deine Aufgaben * Du stellst neuartige Biosensoren her welche du im Detail mikroskopisch, spektroskopisch und auch elektrochemisch charakterisieren wirst * Du erarbeitest neue Layouts und Methoden des Schichtaufbaus. * Du nutzt eine Vielfalt an unterschiedlichen physikalisch-chemischen Charakterisierungsmethoden * Du wertest Messdaten mittels neu zu erstellenden Algorithmen aus Dein Profil * Du hast deinen B.Sc. im Fachgebiet der Bio(Chemie), Elektrochemie, Mikrosystemtechnik oder verwandter Studienfelder mit sehr gutem Erfolg abgeschlossen * Du bringst idealerweise Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen in der Herstellung bzw. Charakterisierung von (Bio-)Sensoren, insbesondere der Herstellung von Dickfilmsensoren mit * Du kennst die Grundlagen der Elektrochemie, Polymerchemie sowie der elektrischen Messtechnik * Du verfügst idealerweise nicht nur über Grundkenntnisse der Statistik, sondern bringst auch Kenntnisse von Methoden zum Filtern und Fitten von Messdaten mit * Du hast ein hohes fachliches Interesse, hohe Einsatzbereitschaft, arbeitest selbständig & zielorientiert und besitzt Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit sowie Kontaktfreudigkeit Deine Vorteile * Flexible Zeiteinteilung * 1.000 € Vergütung bei einer Master-Thesis/ 2.025 € Vergütung für ein (vorgeschaltetes) Vollzeitpraktikum (wenn >3 Monate) * Vergünstigte Essenspreise (-50 %) in unserer Mitarbeiterkantine * Fitnesszentrum auf dem Roche-Campus * Vernetzung mit anderen Studierenden Deine Bewerbung Bitte lade nur Deinen Lebenslauf online hoch. English version Your tasks * You produce novel biosensors which you will characterize in detail microscopically, spectroscopically and also electrochemically * You develop new layouts and methods of building up layers * You use a variety of different physical-chemical characterization methods * You evaluate measurement data using newly created algorithms Your profile * You have your B.Sc. in the field of bio(chemistry), electrochemistry, microsystems technology or related fields of study with very good results * Ideally, you have knowledge and experience in the manufacture or characterization of (bio) sensors, in particular the manufacture of thick-film sensors * You know the basics of electrochemistry, polymer chemistry and electrical measurement technology * Ideally, you not only have basic knowledge of statistics, but also have knowledge of methods for filtering and fitting measurement data * You have a high professional interest, high commitment, work independently and goal-oriented and have communication and team skills as well as sociability Your advantages * Flexible timing * €1,000 remuneration for a master's thesis/ €2,025 remuneration for a (preceding) full-time internship (if >3 months) * Reduced food prices (-50%) in our staff canteen * Fitness center on the Roche campus * Networking with other students Your application Please only upload your CV online.
