We provide support services across the entire facilities lifecycle to help our clients reach their capital improvement goals economically and strategically.We are seeking a Construction Project Manager/Facility Manager with medical facility expertise for a fantastic opportunity in Dulmen, Germany. The role requires periodic travel to project sites such as Poland, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Kuwait. Position is expected to last at least 4 years.The US Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) is involved with overseeing the design, construction, and outfitting of military medical facilities throughout the world. They manage the medical component of the Army's prepositioned stock (APS) program worldwide and establish medical APS warehouses to store and maintain geographically positioned materiel and equipment.This role aids that mission as a facility manager consultant for the project management team providing input and advice in support of the medical facilities life cycle management program. The role will incorporate your expertise in Project Management; Planning, Concept and Design Coordination; Safety Data Sheet Management, and Review; Scope Development; Facility Management, Interior Design Analysis; Construction Project Office Management Development; Submittal Review; Change Proposal Validation, Coordination and Preparation; IO&T Planning and Execution; Contractor Request for Information (RFI) Coordination; Maintenance and Sustainment Planning and Development.Specific duties may include: Issue work orders to correct failing facility features. Develop a sustainment, restoration and modernization program. Represent USAMMA as the building user at planning and facility meetings. Coordinate space management within the facility. Track and monitor facility deficiencies and associated corrective mitigation measures. Coordinate with multiple government entities and external agencies to develop and solve complex facility issues. Monitor performance of the DPW maintenance and housekeeping program. Act as facility manager for the USAMMA APS-2 facility site at Dulmen, Germany.Requirements:Technical knowledge and applicability of laws, regulations, policies, methods, and procedures affecting Army health facility and medical warehouse construction. Position requires knowledge of general principles of architecture, engineering, design, construction, and project management; medical-functional and medical building system components and their interrelationships; applicable government, industry, and accreditation standards and criteria (including space planning, life safety, antiterrorism, indoor air quality, patient privacy, sustainability, and others related to healthcare facilities); DoD and Army construction policies and procedures, including contracting functions, quality assurance, and risk management; organizations relevant to health facility operations and construction; computer programs and tools that speed and improve project execution; and data and documentation use and management, to include drawings, specifications, schedules, and estimates. 2-5 years' construction project management experience on large scale/scope projects. Warehouse projects a plus. 3+ years' experience with medical logistic management Familiarity with product material safety data sheets and hazmat storage environmental requirements Proficiency in MSOffice applications: Project, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook Excellent verbal and written communication skills Citizenship required by government contract HFS Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
