Introduction: FAR Government, Inc. (FARGOV) is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to deliver exceptional nursing care services to the personnel stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse Job Types: Full-time, Contract Location: 86th MEDICAL GROUP, RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany Schedule: 40 h/ week Responsibilities and Duties: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities. Assist with patient assessments and document findings. Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards. Perform routine procedures, such as collecting specimens for laboratory testing. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities Qualifications: Must have successfully completed all education and training requirements leading to and graduated from an accredited national, state, or military equivalent school for Vocational Nursing. ​ Must possess a current, active, valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from a US jurisdiction. ​ Completion of an accredited vocational or practical nursing program. ​ Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Compliance with all continuing education requirements to maintain licensure. ​ Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ​ Skills Requirement Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques. Ability to accurately assess patients' conditions and report findings. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation. Competence in administering medications and treatments safely and accurately. Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety standards. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and respond effectively in emergencies. Continuous learning and willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
