We are hiring a Slovenian-speaking German Language Teacher to provide in-person customized lessons to children and adults in Offenbach am Main. Job Information: Class numbers: 176432/176415 Students: One adult and one 6-year-old child having separate, back-to-back classes Availability: Any weekday afternoon - starting from 4pm Preferred start date: ASAP Lesson frequency: 2 or 3 times per week Lesson length: 1 hour for adult; 30 or 45 minutes for child Students' location: Lessons are to be held at the family's home near Hotel Hansa (Bernardstraße 101), Offenbach am Main 63067 Native language: Slovenian, also speak Serbo-Croatian Students' language needs and goals: Adult: Get used to the basics of the German language to be able to interact and complete day-to-day activities. // Child: She will be going to school in Germany; she will need help getting used to the basics in order to interact with schoolmates, teachers, and succeed at school. She is an energetic and full of life child. Additional information: They are not fluent in English. Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
