Zum schnellstmöglichen Zeitpunkt suchen wir innerhalb der Abteilung XXX für unseren Standort in Bergheim bei Köln eine/n Lead the development, implementation and management of a multi-site productivity improvement plan. This includes the appropriate metrics, expectations, programs, procedures and management systems to drive improved productivity in operations. Partners very closely with the Manufacturing Plants, Plant Managers, Operators, Maintenance Managers, Operations Directors to establish the Improvement Strategy. This includes the appropriate programs, tools, procedures and management systems to drive improved productivity performance with the lowest, long-term cost of ownership. Strong use of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. Aligns productivity efforts with and supports existing Continuous Improvement program and processes. Support Huber efforts to meet or exceed our EHS&S, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance expectations. Duties & Responsibilities The Continuous Improvement Manager is fully accountable for delivering improvements in productivity, quality, cost performance, delivery and capacity. The Continuous Improvement Manager will report directly to the Director of Continuous Improvement, with a dotted line to the Director of Operations. Work with regional production plants to develop, Implement and lead the site productivity improvement plans. This includes a portfolio of projects that will be generated through various idea and brainstorming sessions as well as gap analysis between current performance and Best In Class performance. Leverage project ideas from other plants as well. Ensure that the appropriate productivity and cost metrics are in place throughout the organization (asset utilization, OEE, capacity, throughput, cycle time, change over time, energy consumption, yield, quality, etc). Manage and develop site resources to implement productivity improvement projects. This includes having various resources trained at LSS Black Belt and LSS Green Belt levels. Drive engagement of the improvement plan throughout the site. Ensure that the improvement plan is supported by the site and business leaders. Ensure that Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies are used throughout the production plants on a daily basis to measure and improve performance. Provide various training programs on site including basic LSS tool usage (control charts, root cause analysis, C&E matrix, fishbone, FMEA, process mapping and value stream mapping as well as various other statistical applications like SPC/SQC). Integrate new technology into the productivity improvement plan (including process control and automation). Work with engineering and capital coordinators to develop capital investments that provide improvements to site productivity. Benchmark site operational performance with similar plants, companies and industry in order to understand and drive our competitiveness. Participate in a standard process for each plant to develop and implement 1-3 year objectives, annual targets/milestones and quarterly/monthly actions … ensure alignment with Business/Operational needs. Education & Experience B.S. Degree in Engineering, Science or other technical discipline 5+ years of industry experience including Operations Productivity and Asset Utilization Strong leadership, communication and facilitation skills Must be able to influence the local organization, from the shop floor to the Plant Manager. Self-motivated, ability to make independent and informed decisions Solid knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing). Black Belt or Green Belt training and certification preferred.
