We are looking for an FAE to lead and provide technical field applications support to defined customers of Alpha and Omega Semiconductor, Inc. (AOS) in the EMEA region. The main responsibility of this position is to engage with key customers, working with sales management and distribution partners to secure AOS product design WINs contributing to revenue growth. The FAE is also responsible for defining and reporting customers' technical requirements in the region to contribute to new product development relevant for mid and long-term company growth. The FAE reports to the Regional Sales Director in Europe. Location Munich Office or Hybrid Main Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with customers' engineering community as a first level of AOS technical support, defining and nurturing design opportunities to WIN Work closely with AOS Sales and Product Line teams to promote new products and AOS system solutions to secure design wins in alignment with company targets to secure sustainable AOS business growth Act as customer facing component and system level expert in power electronics, primarily in Motor Control and BMS area Provide design-in technical support to defined customers and distributors Provide technical products and system level training to customers and distributors as well as AOS sales team. Travel to customer sites for promotion, technical support, and discussion Actively define and propose new product development to AOS Product Lines Report on a regular basis the design status and activities to Regional Sales Director Europe Requirements: BS/MS Electrical Engineering 5+ years' experience in analog hardware design for motor control and power supply applications Enhanced knowledge of MOSFET, IGBTs, Driver ICs & DC/DC IC controllers.... Experience with technical customer support in field preferred in power semiconductor industry Intercultural competence Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German skills preferred. Readiness to travel EMEA wide and sporadically to USA and Asia - estimated travel ration about 30-40% Readiness to work outside standard working hours (worldwide collaboration with focus in California and Asia) Driver license class B.
