What you'll do We are looking for an IT Data Center Associate (f/m/d) as Server & Database Administrator to join the 7x24 shift worker team with a technical background in supporting SAP Systems in administration of internal business & support systems. Your Role: Database administration Support, maintenance and optimization of relational database systems such as SAP HANA, MSSQL, ASE Installation, configuration and monitoring of databases Ensuring database availability and performance Collaboration with 3rd level support in the event of faults and problems Server administration Administration and operation of servers (Windows, Linux) Installation, configuration and maintenance of server applications Monitoring server performance and availability Support with troubleshooting and escalation to the 3rd level team Documentation Maintenance of operating instructions and documentation Recording fault reports and solutions Communication Close cooperation with other IT teams and specialist departments What you bring Completed training or studies in the field of computer science or comparable qualification Working student/intern or professional experience in database and server administration Good knowledge of at least one of the following database systems: SAP HANA, MSSQL or ASE Experience with Windows and Linux servers Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift system Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and ability to work independently Fluent English and German are mandatory Meet your team Our passion is to provide professional and high quality 2nd level IT infrastructure services that enable stable operations and at the same time technical innovations in the business critical SAP systems.
