Could you be the full time Procurement Project Manager (f/m/d) in Siegen we’re looking for? Your Future Role Our Siegen site is an international competence center for bogies. 800 colleagues develop, manufacture, test, and repair bogies for global rail traffic, ensuring stability and comfort on the tracks. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Vanda Boos, and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team. We’ll look for you to: Execute, monitor and optimize material budget including potential risks & opportunities Establish and manage the procurement schedule with special focus on the technical requirements documents/ drawing release Coordinate interface between project and procurement organization and represent procurement on all project related activities, specifically in the start-up phase and in project meetings Provide the inputs of the relevant project specific terms and conditions to the responsible buyers Drive Make or Buy based on overall strategy (supplier input for business case) Coordinate project related material cost reduction activities Supplier documentation management (requirements and execution) Ensure any dual/ multi sourcing activities are shared, aligned and agreed with the project team prior to purchase order placement Facilitate contact with suppliers to support the parts approval process Secure that strategies are implemented and project sourcing plans are aligned with global commodity management All About You We value passion and attitude over experience.
