Support the Web Design System team in all aspects of establishing and evolving the SAP Web Design System Collaborate closely with application design teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements Create design specifications for components based on specific requirements Present designs, gathering feedback, and incorporating changes accordingly Participate and preparing usability testing (i.e. developing prototypes) Provide guideline articles explaining the use of different components and patterns Ensure that designs meet product standards (i.e. Accessibility Standards) Collaborate closely with our Web Design System team both onsite and remotely To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and portfolio link. What you bring Can consistently contribute 10-20 hours per week to our team both onsite and remotely Have a reliable and stable internet for remote work. Language skills: Fluent in English and German Understand and have experience in applying the entire design process Have a comprehensive understanding of Figma Have experience in creating design for components and patterns Demonstrate grasp of design system concepts, and understand how to create and implement a scalable and reusable design system Capable of designing user-focused elements that propel an intuitive experience Are detail-oriented and structured in your approach to work Have a basic knowledge about code (i.e. CSS, HTML and JavaScript is a plus) Meet your team The SAP Design System Team is focused on evolving the SAP design system, design language, and best practices to increase overall design quality and development velocity. We establish the DNA that makes SAP Products unique. We build the Design Systems that bring the language to life. We create standards and guidance to ensure consistency. Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
