Senior Customer Service Specialist (m/f/d) - Global Sales - Outdoor Europe

Description:

PURPOSE To be accountable for the central execution of Customer Service and Operations tasks to enable effective customer service focussed processes. Serve as interactive sales function between adidas departments and external global distribution/ sales agency partners. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage the deliveries of the orders to our customers in DACH/ UK etc. while ensuring the exchange of information regarding order confirmations, allocation, delivery, reorder, cancellation and order adjustments to provide high-quality customer service in a timely manner. · Manage order placement provided by internal and external stakeholders ranging from pre- and re-orders, and free-of-charge orders. · Log missing or damaged goods reported by the customer when receiving a shipment and follow-up with credit note validation in Finance. · Follow up on returns from customers with the Returns Department at Uffenheim warehouse and control the transfer and correct booking to the stock in the warehouse. · Work closely with Finance to process and monitor Customer Master Data to confirm it is updated and correct based on distributor or sales request. KEY RELATIONSHIPS · Logistic Partners · Global Operations, Market Operations · Financial Shared Services, Group Finance (Herzogenaurach, Porto, ) · Inbound Planning / DC · Customer master data · Customer trade terms · GSPOM GTS - Order Management, Global Supply Planning – Global Ticketing System · Planning & Purchasing KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES · Proficiency in core computer systems (Microsoft Excel, Outlook; SAP) · Proven ability to achieve tight deadlines and work under pressure in constantly changing environment · good written, verbal, and professional communication skills · Good team player demonstrating the ability to work cross functionally with people at all levels within the organization · Good in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other languages are a benefit. QUALIFICATIONS · College/University degree, preferably in business · 2 years of experience in Customer Service, sports or consumer goods industry and excellent knowledge of Customer Service processes.
