What you'll do As a Creative Technologist in our Strategic Frontrunner Projects Team, you will work on innovative showcases that emphasize the value proposition of the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will be part of a technology-focused team that builds to help shape the future generations of SAP software. You will have the chance to directly work with an agile group of students with a tech and design background to bring ideas together and jointly ship real applications to real end users. Beyond your main project, you will have direct interaction with users to perform all necessary tasks, ranging from user research and user testing through experience mapping up to high fidelity UI designs and prototypes. You will create proof-of-concepts and demos to highlight the benefits and feasibility of the team’s futuristic ideas. What you bring Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Interface Design, Interaction Design, Product Design or a related field (focus on design, creative technology and prototyping) A design portfolio (online) Language skills: Fluent in German or English (written and spoken) Motivated to articulate and communicate ideas and design decisions well to interdisciplinary project teams Preferred Skills: 3D Modelling skillset is a must (Fusion360, Blender or similar software) Experienced in prototyping technologies like 3D printing, laser-cutting, paper prototyping Proficient in design tools, such as Autodesk Fusion 360, Figma, Sketch, Mural, Miro, and Adobe CC Experience in supporting events from a technical point of view A great eye for detail, especially when it comes to the intersection of the physical and digital world. Work Experience: We are preferably looking for a working student with prior work experience as a student worker in a similar field or within your studies. Meet your team Strategic Projects is a dynamic team at the heart of the 'Business Technology Platform (BTP) Foundation Engineering' unit. We focus on innovative solutions for cross-BTP topics and enhancing BTP products and services. We prepare keynotes and provide expert insights for strategic BTP technology topics. Our team is sectioned into dedicated and functional focus areas, working collaboratively with other SAP teams to realize our mission. Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
